In this article, I am going to talk about
a product I want to recommend to my audience and also may add some readings
that will go along the product I am recommending to you. Today I want to
recommend the iPad by Apple. I'm
talking to the readers and technological people out there who are looking for
something to buy and who are looking for quality over price or to have a
product that will last a long time. There are many reasons why you should buy
one and I am going to give you a couple of them. The portability of the iPad is
very popular meaning you can carry it with you almost wherever you want to go.
So if you want to check your email or get on a social media website, you don't
have to spend the amount of time you have to, to crack open your laptop,
because you can just get your iPad out and check it on there. You will be able
to do the above by connecting to the Wi-Fi or you can pay extra to connect to
data, just like how you would use your mobile device. If you think the cost of
the iPad is too expensive, you can look it up on Amazon or other sites to get
it either used or at a cheaper price. But remember that even though it is
expensive, if you take care of it, it will give you many years of easy
accessibility to technology and apps and many other features. The iPad isn’t
just good for getting on the internet but it also has a built in camera so you
can take pictures and record videos of favorite events and edit later.
The iPad comes with a number of apps quite
capable of completing many of our routine tasks. These include a web browser, a mail client, a calendar, an
alarm clock, a maps package, a notepad, a video conferencing client and a
contacts list. With the easily accessibility of these apps all at our
fingertips, this makes our lives 10 times easier. Why? Well you can get on the
internet, check your email, schedule and look up daily plans on your calendar,
and use GPS all from your iPad which can save money so you don’t have to buy
each of these products separately. You will also find a ton of free apps in the
App Store and able to purchase music from the ITunes Store which are included
with the iPad. Even though a app may have a price tag, it is much lower than on
a PC, with most apps ranging between $.99 to $4.99.
Even if you don’t get
along with technology very well, the iPad’s interface is very intuitive. People
use this product now for their daily lives, why? Because the iPad allows basic
day-to-day tasks to be completed without worrying about loading your PC or
laptop because the iPad is so easily accessible and easy to use. Once you
purchase an app, you wouldn’t even need to search for it on the product because
the iPad initially installs it right on the front screen. So, if you want to
get on Facebook or Pinterest or play a game, just click on the app on the
screen. If you have more than one page of apps, just categorize them into
groups making the OCD people in the world extremely happy with the neatness of
their screen. What’s even more awesome is along with apps, you can stream
online videos and install Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, and many more so
you would have easy access to shows and movies.
If you are a fan or
have an EBook, don’t worry about a thing. Because the iPad can upgrade your
EBook and become better than that software. The iPad’s iBook’s app is one of
the best eReaders on the market, with an excellent interface to flip pages,
just like if you were reading the actual book! You can even purchase the free
kindle reader available in the App Store so you can have Amazon’s kindle books
for free.
Siri is very helpful in figuring things
out and looking up information using the web. By holding o on the home button
on the iPad, she will ask you, “what would you like me to help you with” and once
you tell/ask her, she will find the best answer for you. You can ask her
anything to look up, use her to set reminders on the calendar, have her look up
an address or ask to access an app faster, she’s there for you and only for
you. She can set your alarm clock, text people without you touching the screen,
place telephone calls, play music and videos, and even update apps all by you
just asking her to do it for you. If you don’t want it to be a ‘her’, then you
can change it to be a ‘he’ and even change the language and other things to
your liking.
The last thing I want to add to the end of
this article is the Battery life and the Cost of this product. The Battery life
of an iPad is 10 hours without being needed to recharge. It does vary how much
you use the product but typically it will last about 10 hours. Visually
explain: you would be able to watch 7 to 8 hour long episode on the iPad until
you would need to recharge it. Allowing you to binge watch or play a game or
read a book for a long amount of time. The cost for the newer products is high,
starting around $500, but if you want to try out one of the older models, you
can purchase those for as low as $269, which is also much cheaper than a laptop.
